you were recently contacted by Gena Brooks, and I am the person she mentioned who researching the issue addressed as mind control electronic harassment and the increasing numbers of websites on this. She is from NewYork so knows English well , but I am from Belgium, I apologize my English is not so good.
I was happy to find your papers and see your interest in several related and in deed disputed subjects like alien abductions, and your current research on disassociation.
In my research I always stick consequently to the scientific principle of objectivity and
I come over and over to a logically unavoidable conclusion, that the paradox the mind control websites pose to DSM, is a part of many increasing paradoxes of last decades, to the entire scientific paradigm of twentieth century. as described by Tomas Kuhn in The Structure of Scientific Revolutions "In general, science is broken up into three distinct stages. Prescience, which lacks a central paradigm, comes first. This is followed by "normal science", when scientists attempt to enlarge the central paradigm by "puzzle-solving". Thus, the failure of a result to conform to the paradigm is seen not as refuting the paradigm, but as the mistake of the researcher. As anomalous results build up, science reaches a crisis, at which point a new paradigm, which subsumes the old results along with the anomalous results into one framework, is accepted. This is termed revolutionary science.
I do realize how far fetching this statement is, But scientist may agree at one point in time but later discover that this consensus represented a subjective point of view. Science is rather is a social and historical than a logical process.
You write in your article on alien abductions "It would certainly be foolish to discount the possibility of anything unlikely, simply because of its improbability", and even if I don't really believe in aliens, I do agree this is the correct approach to anything.
Especially in case a specific explanation is based on valid scientific reasoning and supported by the facts, even if it contradicts scientific consensus, unavoidably the best choice is the theory, that is objective and could ideally be accepted by any subject, because it does not draw on any assumptions, prejudices, or values of particular subjects.This theory should necessarily in the near future be accepted by entire scientific community, and this is what I really believe here is the case. I will try to explain.
It is reasonable a paradigm shift will announce itself in an increasing number of inconsistencies and appears as important academic controversies that have the pattern that both sides have some points to make, but none of them manages to explain the entire phenomenon completely.
Such controversy in recent decades on" recovered or false memories" is the clearest example of this and the dispute has led to several lawsuits on the different subjects of it, because any kind of consensus seems impossible.
Of course it is very consequent to consider all of these memories on the same way, no matter they refer to alien abduction, satanic ritual abuse or sexual abuse in childhood because they have all the same characteristics, and emerged on large scale at the same moment in the 80 ties, and there for Susan Clancy studied alien abductions to study memory and avoid at the same time the bitter debate on abuse.

The common sense tells us that something with the same characteristics is the same thing.
The same pattern of course appears in the mind control story, and raises questions you mention in your papers on it in "The presence of social belief formation and the creation of a complex paramedical support network challenges the view of psychosis as globally disabling." Or in the article : Sharing Their Demons on the Web "Some of those now posting on mind-control sites say they are being remotely "sexually stimulated" by their torturers. Some alien abductees had said similar things. Subsequent research generally showed that those who believed they had been abducted were not psychotic, but suffering from severe memory and sleep problems, or personal traumas, Dr. Bell said."

I got meanwhile in touch with Psychologist Randy Noblit who just wrote a book on the subject
And he described to me the phenomenon he is trying to understand as following: R Noblit : "I mostly work with people who say that they were ritually abused and they are also dissociated. Some of them say that they think they are currently harassed by radio or similar technology, but some of them say there programmed to have this belief by their abuser group, whom they say used radio and radio-like devices during their abuse and programming. "And later "My definition of ritual abuse is similar to what many people also call "trauma based mind control.""
Yes in deed this is neceserelly too much to be coincidence,
A sudden sharp rise in incidence in 2000, and a combination in symptoms that are very specific, and don't match any known mental or other illness, and are normally not even related, and all this at the same moment and all around the world, How can that be "imagined" ,? And indeed just as alien abductees or survivors of satanic ritual abuse, they share the trauma, the sleep deprivation, and even the health problem,
I believe it MUST be the same thing, and even the changes in the DSM, are influenced by this, Scare is that it matches the unexpected suicide rates. It is all in the "patterns" and seems to be "artificial intelligence " , just suppose so, not sure, but sure it is one and the same.
